Funding available under the Canada Foundation for Innovation and the National Research Council will be available to support large- countermeasures to combat COVID-19, including potential vaccines and treatments. Submit a short summary of your idea to ic.mid-dim.ic@canada.ca. The Department will touch-base within 48 hours and direct to the corresponding channel.
How it works: Refocus Canada’s existing industrial and innovation programs, by adding to their mandate a requirement that they prioritize the fight against COVID-19.
