As an Associate at Sussex, Emily prides herself on having a close relationship with clients within the agriculture, energy, environment and industry sectors. Emily is passionate, results-oriented and cares about the success of her clients. She believes that strong personal connections with clients and taking the time to understand their needs is the key to success.
Emily has established herself as an experienced campaign operative, managing political campaigns across the country, and working in Provincial and Federal Leader’s Offices.
Prior to Sussex, Emily held various roles in the Office of the Leader of the Official Opposition including Regional Advisor for the Prairie Provinces and Manager of Special Projects and Caucus Services. Most recently, Emily worked as a Stakeholder Relations Advisor specializing in files such as agriculture, tourism, procurement, defense, and economic development. While working in the OLO, Emily worked collaboratively with members of the Conservative Caucus as well as the previous three Leaders of the Official Opposition. Emily has over 10 years of experience working in Alberta provincial politics and volunteering with the former PC Party in a myriad of areas including event planning and being a youth ambassador.
Emily holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Lethbridge, Alberta.
Outside of work, Emily is often found at the gym, on the golf course, or planning her next international travel adventure.
