Naomi supports a diverse range of clients and closely monitors the activities of the federal and provincial governments, providing research, analysis and policy alternatives for clients. Naomi also works with clients on health care issues.
Prior to joining Sussex, Naomi held various policy analyst roles within both the Ontario and federal government, including Environment and Climate Change Canada. Naomi also worked at a think-tank providing evidence to inform policy decisions.
Before entering the policy sphere, she worked in a research laboratory on immunology and cancer. Naomi holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Toronto, a Master of Biomedicine, Bioscience and Society from London School of Economics and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Genetics from McMaster University.
Naomi is currently Program Committee co-chair for the Canadian Science Policy Centre 2021 conference, the largest science and innovation policy conference in Canada. She has been volunteering with the Canadian Science Policy Centre for over five years.
