When you step into the Sussex office, you will be warmly greeted by Waverly, our dedicated Receptionist. In her role, Waverly oversees the smooth day-to-day operations of our office and serves as the primary point of contact for all those who visit.
Prior to Sussex, Waverly honed her skills in client relations through various roles across diverse industries, including cosmetics, luxury retail, and healthcare. Her experience has equipped her with a deep understanding of providing exceptional service and fostering positive relationships with clients.
Waverly is inspired by the passion and drive of the Sussex team and is excited to contribute her own enthusiasm to our shared mission. With her friendly demeanor and strong organizational skills, she ensures that every interaction at the front desk is welcoming and efficient.
She has had an interest in socioeconomic advocacy from a young age. At 13 she wrote and recorded a song used by the Canadian Red Cross to promote aid in the wake of the 2010 earthquake in Haiti and has taken part in several World Vision 30-hour famines to raise awareness for world hunger.
She holds an Honours BA from the University of Toronto where she specialized in French studies. Her linguistic pursuits have also resulted in proficiency with Italian, German, and Spanish.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her cats. She is also a hobbyist singer/songwriter and has a love of musical theatre!
