Corinne Boone is an ESG Practitioner with more than 30 years of experience focused on the “business” of sustainability, climate finance and carbon markets, and executive leadership.
Corinne offers unique perspective and experience on integrating economic, social, and environmental risks and opportunities to maximize business and societal outcomes. As a climate finance pioneer, she has developed much of the foundation upon which the global carbon markets of today operate. Corinne has built businesses to become global leaders in carbon finance and the environmental consulting spaces; facilitated numerous multi-million-dollar innovative carbon market transactions between global corporations; advised on the establishment of high value climate funds; and, mentored and led large multi-cultural teams around the world on major EPCM projects.
Corinne is CEO of Climate and Sustainable Innovation, a boutique consultancy, and advises on blockchain-based carbon market exchanges, carbon markets and pricing, sustainable finance, and ESG (environmental, social and governance) considerations.

Corinne was formerly Managing Director (MD) of Hatch’s Environmental Services (ES) Group and was globally and responsible for environment, community, climate and overall sustainability considerations, community investment, indigenous partnerships, and annual corporate sustainability reporting. Corinne transformed the group into highest performing business practice in the company.
Corinne also formerly worked with Cantor Fitzgerald, as Managing Director, Environmental Brokerage Services (CantorCO2e and CO2e.com) focused on global carbon markets. She co-founded a greenhouse gas (GHG) brokerage subsidiary company and developed it into one of the most successful climate market firms in the world.
Corinne is a Certified Corporate Director (CDI.D) and holds the ESGGlobal Competent Boards Designation (GCB.D). She holds a Master of Environmental Studies from York University and a Bachelor of Arts (first class honors) from St. Thomas University.
