ABOUT
Ichchha is an emerging professional with a growing background in digital marketing, student advocacy, and public engagement. With a developing focus on policy, public affairs, and government relations, she brings a well-rounded perspective shaped by hands-on experience in communications, event management and grassroots organizing.
During her time at Toronto Metropolitan University, Ichchha has held several executive and director roles within student-led organizations, leading digital marketing campaigns that significantly boosted student engagement and event turnout. They also contributed to outreach and operations by securing in-kind sponsorships, managing delegate teams, and coordinating case competitions—ensuring seamless and impactful event execution.
Prior to joining Sussex, Ichchha gained valuable experience supporting student organization and political initiatives. She volunteered with the NDP during a federal election, contributing to community outreach efforts, and supported a non-profit tutoring program for children. Her background in customer service roles has further strengthened her interpersonal skills and adaptability in fast-paced dynamic environments.
Ichchha is a fourth-year Bachelor of Commerce student at Toronto Metropolitan University, specializing in Global Management Studies, with academic interests in international business, marketing, and business ethics.
Outside of work, Ichchha enjoys testing out new baking recipes, exploring local cafes with friends, and going on long walks.
