As a Research Associate part of the Energy Practice at Sussex, Kristina supports clients with analysis and advice on the key policy, economic and regulatory changes shaping the electricity sector. She serves numerous clients in the power and utilities, infrastructure, natural resources, and industrial sectors.
Prior to Sussex, Kristina worked for Alectra Utilities' Government Relations division where she supported the preparation and presentation of numerous government funding proposals, strategic research and the development of key reports for the Executive Committee and key stakeholder groups. She was also actively involved in several corporate projects, focusing on innovation and enhancing the utility customer experience.
Kristina is currently a Board Member of the Young Professionals in Energy (Toronto Chapter), a non-profit organization with more than 40,000 members worldwide. In addition, Kristina is an active member of her community with a particular focus on volunteering for The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). Affiliated with the University of Toronto, SickKids is Canada's most research-intensive hospital and the largest centre dedicated to improving children's health in the country. She is a committee member for the All-Star Gala and the Allerjam Committee.
Kristina holds an Honours BA from Queen’s University, where she majored in Sociology and minored in Political Science.
